I am interested in the structures that constrict and dictate our daily lives. My recent work has been dominated by the home and my local environment. Through expanding my understanding of the objects that surround me, I experiment and play with them as co-conspirators in the experience of making. These procedures are often repetitive in action, and using simple tools, as part of the making process. This allows a full body experience that amplifies the understanding and knowing of patterns, behaviours, events, environments and the world I inhabit. I use a feminist framework in my approach and encourage participation in making and experiencing the pieces
